I don’t use my tractor when it’s 14 degrees. The key is that I use my machine primarily in the summer, when it can exceed J20D’s maximum 86F. J20D can be used down to -500 or something. The only rated difference between J20C and J20D that I can tell is that J20C can only be used down to 14F. We do not manufacture a synthetic version of Hy-Gard. When I used the regular Hy-Gard (not low vis) it leaked at the seals, but the “Low Viscosity Hy-Gard” does not leak out.
